The Doylestown Rugby High School Boys’ Team opened the spring league season on Sunday, April 11, 2021, with a tough loss to nationally-ranked (Goff Rugby Report ) St. Joe’s Prep. In a hard-fought battle on the Doylestown home pitch, the final score was 14-29. Scoring for Doylestown were Ford Rubel, with 2 tries (1 in each half), and Chris Cleland, with 2 conversions (1 in each half). St. Joe’s had 3 unconverted tries in the first half and 2 converted tries in the second half. The next match for the Dragons will be away, against Conestoga, on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
