Men’s Team
The Doylestown Mens’ Rugby Team had a very successful outing against West Chester University on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The final score of the home match was 65-17. Try scorers for the Dragons were Matthew Frederick (5), Eric French (3), Kevin Reilly (1), Julio Marsiglia (1), and Brian Stella (1). Jeremy Ault added 5 conversions. The Man of the Match was Matthew Frederick. Next up for Doylestown is Temple University on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the home pitch, the Maennerchor Field, 3650 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Women’s Team
The Doylestown Women’s Rugby Team lost in a hard fought and muddy match to North East Irish Women on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The final score of the match, which was played at home, was 10-0. The team will travel to Harrisburg on Saturday, April 1, 2023, for a match against Harrisburg Women. Kick-off is 11:00 a.m.
High School Boys’ Team
In the season opener, the Doylestown Rugby Academy High School Boys’ Team fell to Malvern Prep on Sunday, March 26, 2023. The final score of the home match was 36-17. Try scorers for Doylestown were: Tyler Darrows (2) and Santiago Bustelo (1). Andrew Gilroy kicked 1
conversion. The Dragons will play Conestoga on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the home pitch at the Maennerchor Field, 3650 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
High School and Middle School Girls’ Teams
On Sunday, March 19, 2023, the Doylestown Rugby Academy High School Girls’ Team traveled to Maryland to play an EGRL Round Robin. The girls lost to West Carroll, 31-7. Maddie Rosato scored the lone try, and Nolah Flynn made the conversion. Doylestown defeated North Bay 38-10. Sydney Haddon had 2 tries. Noelle Robinson, Sydney Worthington, Siena Accardi, and Nolah Flynn each had 1 try. Flynn made 4 conversions. On Sunday, March 26, 2023, the high school girls took on the Knightmares of Lancaster at home, and won 24-12. This was their first RugbyPA league match. Captain, Maddie Doyle, scored 3 tries. Savannah Hines had 1 try and Nolah Flynn made 2 conversions. The Doylestown Rugby Academy Middle School Girls’ Team won against the Knightmares’ middle school team, 22-0. Tries were scored by MJ Cashman, Fiona Bonenberger, Leah Cipollo, and Kayla Robinson. Robinson also made 1 conversion. Doylestown will travel to Mount Vernon Memorial Park, home of Rugby NY, to take on Play Rugby USA in the next EGRL match Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Tickets for the multi-game event can be purchased:

Junior (U15) Boys’ Team
The Doylestown Rugby Academy Junior Boys’ Team defeated Elizabethtown on Sunday, March 26, 2023. The final score of the pre-season home match was 84-0. Try scorers were: Aaron Kelly (4), Marco Burns (2), Jameson King (2), Joey Craig (2), Jackson Hornick (2), Jackson Reilly (1), and Brandon Zubyk (1). Conversions were kicked by Jamie Weir (5), Joey Craig (1), and Augie Verrecchia (1). The Dragons will open their league season with a home match against Conestoga on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Maennerchor Field, 3650 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Youth (U13) Boys’ Team
On the last play of the match, the Doylestown Rugby Academy Youth Boys’ Team lost a close contest to Elizabethtown on Sunday, March 26, 2023. The final score of the pre-season home match was 17-12. Try scorers were: Hunter Pulford (1) and Cross Cervellero (1). Pulford
