High School Boys’ Team
The Doylestown Rugby Academy High School Boys’ Team fell to Berks County Rugby on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in the quarter-finals of the RugbyPA State Championships. The final score was 64-17. Junior (U15) Boys’ Team
The Doylestown Rugby Academy Junior Boys’ Team defeated previously unbeaten Montgomery Bucks on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in their fifth league match of the season. At halftime, the Dragons led 28-0. The final score of the home league match was 54-0. Try scorers for Doylestown were: Joey Craig (3), Louie Cipollo (1), Timmy Fuhrmeister (1), Aaron Kelly (1), Qwan James (1), and Alex Stukis (1). Youth (U13) Boys’ Team
The Doylestown Rugby Academy Youth Boys’ Rugby Team won its biggest game of the season so far on Sunday, May 7, 2023. In their fifth league match of the season, the host Dragons defeated Montgomery Bucks, 62-12, building on a halftime lead of 31-7. Try scorers were: Brady Flynn (2), Brexton Van Antwerp (2), Hunter Pulford (2), Brady Meehan (2), Cross Cervellero (1), and Roman Wade (1). Conor Cassidy kicked 6 conversions. On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Doylestown will travel to College Settlement Camp Field in Horsham to take on their league rival, Blackthorn, in the RugbyPa State Championship playoffs.
