Doylestown Rugby Academy High School Girls’ Team Finishes Second in RugbyPA State Championship

DOYLESTOWN RUGBY ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS’ TEAM FINISHES SECOND IN RUGBYPA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, the Doylestown Rugby Academy High School Girls’ Team fell to the Knightmares RFC 27-12 in the RugbyPA State championship match held at PSU-Berks. Reaghan King and Sydney Worthington scored the Dragons’ 2 tries. Nolah Flynn made one conversion kick. Senior Captain, Maddie Doyle, won the 2023 RugbyPA Player of the Year Award. The team will take part in the EGRL Championship weekend at Bundt Park in Lebanon, NJ on June 10 and 11, 2023.
