Doylestown Rugby Football Club News – October 3rd, 2023

Men’s Team

On Saturday, September 30th, 2023, the Doylestown Rugby Men's Team hosted Media RFC. The Dragons, working on their rebuild, fielded several new players, along with some players who have not been on the pitch recently for Doylestown. Unfortunately, this rebuild was fully noticeable during the match. The first half ended with a score of 5-22, in favor of Media. The only Doylestown try was scored by Kevin Hockings. The second half looked promising, with the Dragons only allowing one score by Media. However, the Doylestown offense just was not clicking. A last second try by Julio Marsiglia made the outcome 10-29, with Media taking the victory. The Dragons are looking forward to regrouping over the upcoming bye week.

Doylestown Men’s next match is against Philadelphia Whitemarsh at 4231 Avenue of the Republic in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Anticipated kickoff is 1:00 p.m.
